Okay, so I've been looking through Sherlock-Theories on tumblr, and been thinking back to the Riechenbach Falls episode, and just had a thought; Moffat talked about the clue to Sherlock's survival being linked to something out of character he does in that episode, and it occurred to me, Sherlock has his hands behind his back a lot during his final talk with Moriarty. What is he hiding in his hands? Could it be in the camera that was planted in his and Johns flat? Is he recording his and Moriarty's conversation, and Moriarty's open admissions of guilt? Hardly something that's going to save his life, but which could certainly prove his innocence and Moriarty's guilt when he returns in series 3. Is that why he randomly starts laughing when Moriarty makes him step up on to the ledge? Is it for the assassins benefit, to show them that Moriarty lied to them and they had been tricked? Has he recorded a message on there for John beforehand, explaining what he is planning to do and why, to be passed on to him at 'the right time'? Is this how John will learn that Sherlock is alive in season three? Or is Sherlock planning to pull a Jim, somehow hack in to the TV network, and broadcast the entire thing on TV to prove his innocence?
Who knows. But it's fun to theorize.
