ANOTHER FABRIC SALE

Feb 10, 2010 19:25

Okay, here goes - I'm putting fabric and trims (and a ruffler foot) up for sale again. Here's the rules:

For LJ, prices are somewhat negotiable - shipping is not. Buyer must pay shipping, of whatever method they choose. (Unless of course you happen to be local and I can just hand it to you at some point.) I'm taking this stuff to a swap meet on Friday, so if you see something you desperately want, please don't wait. Let me know ASAP. If you don't want to comment here, I can also be reached at kurayami AT yahoo DOT com. This stuff may still be here after the weekend or it may not, I can't guarantee anything. (I know this is pretty short notice, sorry about that... measuring and photographing took longer than I'd hoped.)

I'd also rather not cut the pieces up, but I will if I have to. If more than one person wants the same fabric, it will be first come first serve.

Some of the fabrics are leftovers from previous costumes and have extra bits where pieces were cut out - I have not removed these, because people might actually be able to get another pattern piece out of them, but only FULL yardage is counted in the measurements. In other words, if a fabric is marked as having extra leftovers and I say there are 2 yards, there are actually 2 full-width yards plus some amount of extra that isn't a full width of fabric. Measurements may be off by a couple inches here and there, I was kind of in a rush. Also, please take into account that my photos suck; a lot of them were taken with flash and/or artificial lighting, so colors may be a little off from reality. My apologies.

Payment: Paypal preferred (no fees will be tacked on to the prices you see here), but I'm willing to hold onto the stuff long enough for you to mail a check to me and for it to clear if you're willing to wait too.

Now here goes.

Pink rose-printed lightweight satin brocade. Both sides are pictured here because you could really wear it either way if you wanted. (Used for Orchestral Faeries set, specifically Rose Adagio.) 3 1/2 yards, 45" wide. $14.

Same stuff in purple (used for Violet Melody). 1 yard with leftovers, 45" wide. $4.

Midnight blue crepe-back satin (used for Silent). 1 2/3 yards with leftovers, 60" wide. $8.

Two-tone blue/black satiny stuff (I actually don't know what it is technically, but it's definitely synthetic - it was a Fabric District find) with a "crushed" crinkle effect. 5 3/4 yards, 54" wide. $12.

Sky-blue shiny tulle. Fair warning, this is damaged - it's been cut in places. It would still be perfectly useable even in those places as strips though... say for a crinoline? :) 14 1/2 yards, $7.

Pink-silver two-tone crystal organza. 3 yards, 60" wide. $15.

White organza with glittery white floral swirls. Two pieces: 6 1/3 yards, 45" wide, $30; and 2 3/4 yards, $12. $40 if you want both.

White silk chiffon. 3 yards, 45" wide. $15.

Burgundy nylon/lycra. Just under 5 yards, 60" wide. $25.

Lavender stretch rayon. Just under 2 yards, 45" wide. $16.

Black stretch velvet with holographic "paint splatters" (used for Synergy). 1 yard and 16 inches, 58" wide. $8.

Pale green silk dupioni (used for Platyphyllum). 1 1/2 full yards with some leftovers. 45" wide. $8.

Blue velvet with imprinted swirls. Almost 6 yards, 48" wide. $30.

Purple lining fabric (at least, I think it was intended to be lining fabric, though it's much softer than most...), very lightweight, used for Platyphyllum. 1 yard with a bit of leftovers, 52" wide. $5.

Red crepe. 3 yards, 45" wide. $12.

Turquoise-blue crepe (used for Breath of Fire IV Nina and probably Umi at some point as well). 1 yard 32" full-width, another 25" of almost-full width, plus some leftovers in addition to that. 60" wide, $8.

Red silkessence (used for Hikaru). 1 3/4 yards, 45" wide. $4.

Turquoise-blue silkessence (used for Umi). 1 yard 10" full width plus 28" mostly full width plus leftovers. 45" wide, $3.

Home-dec fabric, red/black crosswoven with funky knot gathers. 28", 52" wide. $5.

Gray short pile fur (used for Freya). 36 by 40 inches with a bunch of leftovers on the side. $8.

Scalloped lace with metallic gold, 5 1/4 yards. $10.

Venice lace floral (used for Violet Melody), 2 yards and 6 inches. $6.

3 trims leftover from Agatha. From top to bottom: 1) Scalloped Venice lace, very slightly shiny (like rayon embroidery thread vs. regular thread). 3 yards, $9. 2) Rose Venice lace. 3 3/4 yards, $11. 3) Organza flower trim with beaded centers. 3 yards, $20.

Sequin and bead trim (used for Silent). 6 1/3 yards, $28.

Ruffler foot - generic for low-shank machines. $10.
