These 4 look back on their solo activities from this year!
-- What kind of year was this year?
K: A lot has happened but, we did our own individual activities to the fullest.
S: There were few time we were as a group but, there were magazine interviews that involved all 4 of us.
K: We’ve been meeting up a lot recently! In addition to work, we might almost be meeting every week (lol).
--Do you check out the other members’ activities?
K: Tegoshi’s movie “Hotaru no Hikari” was featured on “news every”, I was so happy. Then a reply came from Tegoshi saying “I saw it~!”.
T: I saw it, I saw it.
M: Just around that time, we were bought in the car going somewhere.
--Kato-kun was in a stage play, and started a radio show.
S: I also was in a drama.
K: I watched that! Of course! If I was to mention the genre, there were just a lot of them?
S: I played roles that I’ve never done before, and recording, I challenged a lot of them.
K: Massu was on a lot of variety shows!
--Do you watch the shows you’ve been on when they air them?
K: I do!
T: I definitely watch the music programs!
M: I watch them all! But, when I was on “Chubaw desu yo!” my friends who watched it texted me saying things like “Massu, you don’t cook do you?” but, I can definitely cook, right?
S: I don’t know! (lol) But, you don’t cook at home do you?
M: I don’t cook at all, but I got a 5 in home economics!
S: What’s with that (lol).
K: That was all the way from primary school (lol).
S: I want to watch the shows but, Massu whenever you appear on TV shows, can you contact our manager? (lol)
K: That’s a lot of trouble! (lol).
S: How on earth do you guys know? From Johnny’s Web?
K: Yes, from Johnny’s Web!
S: Okay, just tell me Massu! Like “I’m about to be on this show” (lol).
M: OK! I’m on this show, right? (lol).
NEWS’ new aspirations in accordance with their specialities turning into work!
-- Tegoshi-kun took on “Deka Wanko” and a serialisation in a soccer magazine.
S: That thing you had just then?
T: Yep! During a segment on “Sekai no Hate Made ItteQ!”, I said I wanted to do a job that involved soccer. After that, someone from the magazine saw it.
M: Your dream came true then?
K: That’s right! Isn’t that great, your hobbies becoming work.
S: That’s cool~, I wonder if someone from a fishing magazine will come~!
T: Ahaha (lol)!
K: Go become a regular on a fishing TV program then (lol)!
S: I want to do a Johnny’s fishing show. There a quite a number of people who like fishing in Johnny’s.
K: I have no interest in it (lol).
S: That what do you want to do Koyama?
K: I’m already doing “every”, so I don’t do any serialisations. I want to do something extensive. That’s why “every” might be my hobby by extension.
S: Massu can do a serialisation in a fashion magazine?
T: Like coordinations?
M: Fashion sounds good~ I want to make clothes.
S: Collaboration? Model Masuda?
M: Yep, yep!
S: Model Masuda, I don’t have any confidence wearing any of that (lol).
M: The people who understand will get it, I’ll make good ones!
S: But I think those ideas can take shape!
-- Tegomasu has a tour, but what about Koyashige activities?
K: That’s only for concerts, so it’s fine.
S: Yeah.
-- Are you saving up your material?
S: I have an idea, but I don’t want to say it! It’s a company secret (lol). What if Sexy Zone does it before us! (lol)

Strategies to up our appeal! What do you want to add?
-- Facing the New Year, what part of your individual appeals do you want to power up!
S: Another 3kg, Koyama will reach 65kg and become a macho character.
K: I’m working hard!
M: Koyama, honestly you’re only focusing on one thing! (lol) You have plenty of things to put in (lol).
K: I have a lot of capacity.
T: I don’t.
S: It’s good if you have elements that completely don’t relate to you at all. Like climbing mountains (lol).
M: Having an interest in mountains, right?
S: You have the ocean image, but surprisingly you’re like a mountain (lol).
K: You’re right (lol).
S: Ah, like you would be riding on a massive motorbike (lol).
M: Something like going on a trip with only one rucksack.
S: Backpacker! (lol)
M: That’s wild! (lol) You’ll be all tanned by the time you come back.
K: A wild element huh? (lol)
--What about Masuda-kun?
T: Something with movement? When I’m with Massu, that’s how he is.
S: I don’t think he expresses exactly how manly he is. Like a badass guy in movies?
K: He’s done the whole badass thing on radio once!
M: “YOU GUYS!“ and “I’M NOT LISTENING!” (lol).*
T: Ahaha!! (lol)
K: But it was quite fresh (lol).
S: That was really entertaining though, I want to express a cool part of myself too.
-- But Masuda-kun will bring out a mature side when he turns 26 years old?
M: Yep, I’ll be bringing it out.
K: You’re lifting a ban?
M: I’ll lift it when I’m 26! I’ll be like “Beaujolais nouveau”**. I’ll be switching over to being an adult.
S: Can you go into it that quickly? Can’t you slowly go into it? (lol)
M: I’ll do it slowly from 26.
K: Tegoshi, why don’t you play baseball?
Everyone: Ahahaha! (lol)
S: That’s so funny! (lol)
M: Baseball’s good! (lol) Those who casually know Tegoshi won’t know he if likes soccer or baseball (lol).
T: Baseball huh, I like it!
K: But you like all sports. What about sumo?
T: Ah, I like it.
S: You like sumo?
T: I do! I’ve been watching it since Takahanada’s time***
M: I’ve competed in a children’s sumo competition before!
K: You’ve never talked about that before (lol).
M: Actually it was 2 times! (lol)
K: I got it! (lol)
-- Last of all, Kato-kun!
S: Here it is, my bit! (lol)
M: Shige can go with something completely different~ how about ball games?
K: Ball games, like water polo (lol).
S: Ahaha (lol).
T: Doesn’t look like he can do it (lol).
M: The match will end without him even touching the ball (lol).
K: Surprisingly, I think Tegoshi can do it.
T: Yeah (lol).
K: We won’t know if he wants the ball or if he’s drowning (lol).
S: Also, there’s American Football (lol).
M: He’ll be all “ohhh……..” when the ball is passed to him (lol).
S: I’ll break; a lot of me will break.
K: That was a bit depressing, but you have the image of an indoor’s person.
S: That’s right.
K: Besides fishing, you have a strong writing impression.
T: It’ll be so refreshing if you were covered in sweat.
M: Mountain climbing?
S: Are you going to change Koyama’s mountain climbing over to mine? (lol)
K: We’ll say things like “last week, you climbed that right?”.
S: Sounds like something I would do often then (lol).
T: It suits you!
S: I do jogging though.
M: It sounds like you’re pushing yourself, so that image is gone.
K: It’s been decided!
M: Only Shige’s one became really serious (lol).

Q1. Go out for dinner
K: Takizawa-kun and Italian food! I want him to treat me! (lol)
S: Fujigaya. We’re the same age, we’re pretty much from the same generation. I went to a stage play some time ago, and we coincidentally sat next to each other. Stuff like that happens, so I want to get to know him better.
M: Everyone in Hey!Say!JUMP, we’ll go for hot pot. I’ll do my best (with the bill) (lol).
T: Koki-kun. I want him to take me to his recommended shop.
Q2. Trip
K: Yokoo. In the past, we were in the same group and did activities together, so I want go somewhere that we haven’t done in a long while.
S: Tsubasa-kun. We can go to Spain together, and he’ll save me with his Spanish (lol).
M: Tsubasa-kun. Because the country I want to go to the most right now is Spain.
T: Murakami-kun. We can go to Spain to watch soccer together!
Q3. Unit
K: I want to go on a variety show with Yabu! I think I’ll tease him (lol).
S: I want to be in a drama with Nakajima (Kento)-kun! I’ve never been in a junior’s drama before.
M: Nakamaru-kun. We’ll sing, and I want to do a beat box collaboration. It’ll even be interesting with Tegomasu!
T: I want to sing with Kame-san (Kamenashi)!
