Oh my, what a slacker!

I can't believe how much time has gone by. And the sad thing is, I'm spending more time on the internet than ever.

I'm only working Sundays at the nursing home, sometimes a Saturday. I should feel guilty about that, they are so short of nurses, but mostly I feel relief. The only guilt comes from not feeling guilty! (How messed up is that?) No relief in sight from the crazed DON. Oh, they can fire you for blogging about work? Go ahead. Make my day.

Diana's getting sooo big so fast. She's up and running around the house. Whoever made up that saying about the pitter-patter of little feet never heard this kid tromping around! Reminds me, she's hid one of her sneakers. Must find it before Easter trip to Grandma's.

Well, I wanted to get pregnant again. So I started the Fertility Friend page. And then decided to put it on hold again. And then changed my mind again. Actions have been taken, it may be too late to change my mind a third time. All to do with insurance. We are COBRA-ing for a bit, which is actually cheaper than buying our own insurance with maternity coverage.

Am worried about the old horse, Poco. Have had trouble keeping weight on him for two years now, this year he looks pretty thestral-ly. Vet out, teeth done, dewormed, fed Equine SR, still thin. And now, is losing hair. Big bald patches to face, forlegs, and hips. Vet coming out Mon or Tues. Reno healed up very well, by the way. You wouldn't notice the scar, except it's growing white hair on an otherwise black leg. That was nasty, let's not do that again. Taking stitches out of a horse's hind leg is a bit nerve-wracking for all involved, as he was not stoned to the gills on ACE as he was when he got the stitches.

Material have been purchased, with income tax refund, to start the addition onto the house. Whoo-hoo, it's really going to happen. It may take 5 years, but it's a start.

Ok, vowing to self never to slack again.
