so today was definitely a very good day! we had a test in mythology, but that was a guaranteed A since it was open notes. The good part was on the bus...i definitely got this guy's screenname, which makes me so happy!!! michelle, eric and i might even double date...kind of a long shot, but it's possible! this was a huge step for me since i am a super shy person...thanks to michelle for giving me lots and lots of encouragement!! ;0)
today we also got to sightread Finladia in band...so cool!!! i liked it cuz since it was one of the symphonic band's pieces, it was actually a little bit of a challenge!! I really wish that we could play it for festival, but i doubt it, even though Steele said that we could perform it soon if we actually practiced it...oh well...
i am so happy that it is almost Christmas...can't wait to see whether or not i will finally get my varsity jacket...i doubt it though, since my parents are paying for a trip to new york with the band...oh, btw, i am a huge band geek...wait, Amanda has informed me that it is too uncool to say 'geek' and it is very cool to say 'nerd' or 'dork' lol...so i am a huge band dork!! lol :0) my parents are also paying for a ski trip to this really nice resort which i am so excited for!!!! we will be getting one of the biggest condos that has tons of closet space and a really big kitchen...not that i really will care, but i guess it's good! so i don't think i will get the jacket this year, but definitely next year!! well, i'm going to eat dinner now...adios
