New beginnings
Well, it's a new year, and a new semester. And good heavens, we're already having presidential elections. This is just insanity. The world has been blowing itself with firearms, even in our "quiet" state there have been 2 murders just since the beginning of the year involving firearms. and I just spent $500 on books, ick!
Well, my psychology 1010 teacher is just plain fruity, man she's weird. My Tai Chi instructor is weird too, but in a good way. My bowling class, well... we don't have a teacher yet... my plant biology class, that should be one of the best classes I've taken, but it's too early to say. I'm really excited about that class, we had a lecture already, but I really like the teacher, and it's a class that only has 11 people in it. Sweet. and my computer essentials course is well.... pointless. I don't see why I should have to take that stupid class, I already know how to use a computer and how to use the internet. grr. But it should be a fun semester. I haven't been to my humanties class yet, that doesn't happen until Friday, but hey, at least I have the book. Can't believe how expensive books are. Don't get me started on my rant about how bad they guage starving students on text books, and I still had to pay $30 in taxes, which by the way I don't get to claim on my tax refunds. This sucks. At least I graduate in May and then i get to do this for another 3 years at a 4 year college!! GRRR!@!
I have shin splints on my right shin from running around with a heavy backpack, thank heavens my mom gave me money to buy a rolling backpack that will fit my sweet laptop in it too. It's really quite roomey but doesn't take up any more room then my last backpack, and it stands up on it's own. Hurray! My body is thrown off right now, and my muscels are all sore becuase I'm moving in different ways then I'm used to. Yay for Tai Chi. Anyway, I know people like to know what's going on.
My poor fiancee has sprained his knee after falling in the parking lot at work. He ended up being sent to instacare because they were worried he might have borken it. That's not on the list of approved activities at all.
