Yay, for the little things in life!
Well, I got word that I've been accepted for graduation in May 2008. Now, to figure out where the money is going to come from. $1000 is coming from my grandma but I will still need about $500 to finish out, so I think I'm going to go talk to Paradise Bakery and ask them if I can work full time for them after the semester ends until I start school again, and then work part time for them again. That way I'd have enough money to pay for the rest of the semester costs and start saving a little bit, hopefully get enough saved that I can buy my own dress so my parents have one less thing to worry about for the wedding. I love the idea of making a dress, but... I realize just how stressful it's going to be on both myself and my mom if we try to do so, and I know it would never fit right and wouldn't ever quite look like I wanted it to, so I think buying one is the best route to go.
On other happy notes, my computer problems are no more, the mysterious Mozilla Firefox won't work issue has been fixed, and whoa, so has my issues with Word.
I think I'm finally getting the hang of Russian, but it might be too late... I'm not sure. At any rate, I think I'm doing a pretty good job of staying afloat in the class, I just need to work on vocabulary.
I'm starting a different medication of my ADD meds that will hopefully make me not so depressed. I get depressed on my meds, and it's not good. I hope it's the meds anyway. Trying to take an antidepressant when I'm on ADD medication could be very tricky at best. Oh yeah, I'm down 13.6 lbs since joining weight watchers, yay!!
