So I thought it was muck itch/rain rot... but now I'm not so sure. it seems to come off really easily and Jeze's bugged by it- but it's going away almost on it's own so soon without any really dramatic hair loss... Or maybe it's just that Calm Coat is a miracle ointment ( Read more... )

I thought about that, but Mike (barn owner) said no because of all the dried blood. He's thinking flies, possibly bot flies or something like ant bites because of how overly scabby it is. She does of signs of fly bites on her inner thigh areas. Poor girlie. She got hit BAD this fall/summer. I feel horrid.

ooo, well, no unless she's biting it, and making it bleed, you're right....
that chlorhexol is good for that kind of thing, too.

if she were THAT flexible I'd call guiness. I'm gonna grab the Clorhexol & try to spray it with the Chlohexadine that I clean my lizard tanks with.

LOL, my mare can do a three legged things, reach under, and bite her belly...everytime she does it, she does a MASSIVE wobble, and I'm afraid she's going to fall over.
