The road to adventure
We are in Tampa now, visiting with friends of Victor's from the old Navy days. They have been married for 48 years and tell each other I love you often. They care for each other deeply and it's really inspiring. They are also confirmed cruise groupies and are very excited about our cruise. As am I, now. Tomorrow we pack and go to the hotel where we stay the night, then are driven to the pier to catch our ship, the Van Dam. I think.
I'm feeling a bit pressed for time to pack, but V is having a great time talking, and thinks we will have plenty of time in the a.m. So I am trying to get peaceful.
Dorothy and David and Tom and a cast of thousands are doing a sale at Mother's house today, and I feel a bit guilty, but it's nice that I'm not there. I need to call Dorothy and see how it went.
I love you all, and am off tomorrow on another adventure.
