Adventures on the Emerald Coast
Well,we made it to Fl. And are staying at an air force rec. area, where our space was right on the water, so we slept to the sound of waves. . . Unfortunately, it was quite a hike to the bathrooms, but we pervevered.
Today we are on the way to Tampa (actually Sun City Central), where V's friends, Tony and Kathy Hart live. We probably won't make it until tomorrow, since it's more than 400 mi. and we keep stopping for such things as bfast and wifi.
Spent yesterday in Pensacola looking at the town and eating some seafood. Great fun, but there has been a 20-knot (?) wind the whole time and I'm a bit tired of it.
Dorothy and my brother Tom are going to d o a big garage sale at Mother's this weekend. I feel guilty, but I'm glad I'm not there.
