So, while shopping, I grabbed a fresh box of white corn meal because it's been a while since I made corn bread, and yes, I just use old familiar in a box and don't worry too much about the organic, fancy, whoopidoo brands now on the scene. My neighbors made fish tacos. Awesomely delicious fish tacos. I know this because they sent over a plate of them. They make them thusly: deep fried white fish in a fresh corn tortilla with a smear of mayo, a dollop of pico de gaulle salsa (that's the fresh chopped up stuff), and a dash of hot sauce.
