I hoped to wake up somewhat early today and run some errands, but I woke up at 10:30. Had some breakfast, watched some FOL and then got ready for the paleo club field trip at noon. We went to an outcrop past Topeka that has horseshoe crabs. I didn't find any (due somewhat to lack of patience) but other people found some pretty nice specimens. I spent most of my time in some red layers above the horseshoe crab layer that was full of brachiopods, crinoids and bryazoa. Afterwards my roommate Julie and I came home and made dinner. Actually, she made dinner and I helped eat. We had some chicken in some Indian tomato and onion sauce with rice, followed with pumpkin bread. We watched What a Girl Wants and a Cinderella Story and now the Kansas-Oklahoma State football game. And, as per usual, we are winning. :) But the game's not over yet, and OK just made a TD is on their way to another it looks like. (Edit: they did make another, boo!) But if we do win, we will remain one of two unbeaten teams in the country along with Hawaii, who also has a game tonight.
