My weekend was funner than yours

Attention, Interbloggers:

Things here are great, Alece and I have been holding down the fort. Last weekend, we got a Flexcar and went to Renton, which was a ton of fun. We got us a table and some right nice chairs and while we miss eating on the floor while watching the Sopranos, we're considering ourselves to be even higher primates now.

But that was all last weekend, and that's why I didn't update. But now it's this weekend, you know, Earth day and all, and I got some more for you. It's a twofer. It was a pretty long week; Alece volunteered some extra time at Children's and got herself a bunch of financial aid (hooray for this!) and I helped out at MSAKC some. Yeah, really a good week we had going.

Saturday though, man- there was this huge book sale at Magnuson Park. It was a badass walk up there and we came home with quite a few books. Each under a dollar! Book sales can suck if you're into computers, because by the time tech books get there they're often obsolete. That's alright though, this time I got a couple of decent ones anyway, and also: Carl Sagan, Stephen Jay Gould, and a couple more as gifts. (I'm headed to MD/VA this weekend, you know...)

Today, we walked around some more.
Alece took some cool pictures of the campus. And we went grocery shopping, and I got a Venus flytrap! It is a savage plant-beast.

Happy Earth day to me! Oh, and to you too I guess... Here, as a present I found you a nice e-card: The Pale Blue Dot.
