[Of all their scenes, this first kiss is the most famous. I'd think most of us would agree on that. Various folks have varying opinions on which kiss is their favorite, but few would deny that this scene, this kiss, holds a special place by all who love this couple. Some people love it because of the music and the lighting; some in spite of that, as well as a few who for one reason or another are critical that they need the music and lighting as a "prop" so to speak. Personally, I like the score. I like the theme music in any show. Sometimes they have it for a couple, sometimes for a character, sometimes for a group. The score evokes many emotions. It often evokes fear or adds tension for the viewer. So I have no problem with a pretty bit of theme music for my favorite couple. Here it's okay, but later there are a couple of scenes I could have done without the lighting. But I'll save that complaint for another day. I said all that to say they didn't need it. Their chemistry, their awesomeness together was so profound, this kiss would be dynamite with nothing else. From what I hear, Bradley and Angel nailed it on the first take and were "let go" to do it themselves and the director and others were delighted. Their fans are delighted too and we appreciate them giving us this lovely kiss to warm our hearts for years to come. Our children after us too.]
So what does it mean? What is there to say about what happened that next morning after the domestic squabble? What happened is what was bound to happen to culminate his stay. What other culmination could there be after what happened the day and night before? How else could it be resolved? It's already been clear to us that the seed had taken root, had been watered, and had sprouted. So it would only follow suit that the fruit would come. The only question left was the where and when. Well, it’s here and now, and if it had not been for Merlin bursting through the doors it could have been the night before.
So off we go on this “enchanting” love story. I mean by the use of this word, charming and wonderful to those who find it so. And may I say there are many who find it so. Unfortunately, both the prince and the maid will have their experience with another use of the word. Enchantment will cause them each heartache and inner turmoil. More than once. But this thing won’t be stopped, not even by magic. The romance will have many enemies. The enemies will be within the confines of the story arc and unfortunately it for some reason draws its share of adversaries who aren’t even a part of the story. But on it goes. Many resets, redirections, false accusations, threats, and other agonies later, it still goes on. I think a lot of people miss the whole point of destiny. In real life I call it Providence, but the thing is, if it’s destiny you can try whatever you want. There’s a destination involved and that’s that. And like it or not, character in the story or fan, this couple makes it to the destination. So many people inside and outside of the story worried that they’d never reach the destination, or hoped they wouldn’t, but not me. For some reason, there was something about this morning kiss that helped to seal it for me. How could any love story have a beginning like this and not end well? How special this event is for TV or the movies or even for reality. So, this morning kiss is the beginning of the love story of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere Pendragon (Merlin style). If you love their story watch this video again; if you hate it, then I’m sure you’ll move along.

ought to pluck from the tree itself."
