EEK!
So I've recently acquired a kitten, and he's the sweetest most PATHETIC creature I've ever met. You see, he's an 8-week old alley cat, and he's blind. But he's not just blind; his left eye is so infected that it's bulging out of his head and is covered in blood and puss and is all red and hurts. He doesn't act like it though, in fact he runs around and plays with the other 2 kittens I'm babysitting like he doesn't even know it's there. He just has trouble because he can't see anything and he has a big sore blob stuck to his face!
So ANYWAYS, there's no fucking way I was going to have him put to sleep, because he's otherwise totally healthy and he's just SOOOO SWEEET. I took him to the vet today, and they said he needs to get it removed ASAP, but the surgery is going to be $500-600, and that's a fuckload of money.

By the way, his name is Eek (Exploding Eye Kitty). The vet said we'll have to change his name after the surgery. ;)
