Caught in the mercy fallout

Today was simply exhausting. I'm definitely the one to blame, though. I slept at 1am the previous night, so it's obvious I'd feel lethargic in the morning.

Today also marked the final day of the Intensive Mother Tongue lessons. For 2 weeks, every Express Chinese student has been dedicating their mind, body & soul to nothing but Chinese. I really, really hope that all of our efforts will pay off, and every student in the class will manage at least an A2 grade for the exam. :)

Went for the MT 'O' Level exam briefing in the auditorium this afternoon, and by the looks of it, Monday's gonna be quite scary. The Mother Tongue teachers have been taking the upcoming exam a tad too seriously by already stressing a lot on the smallest of details. But it's really for our own good! I'd really kill myself if I happened to forget to bring along my NRIC on that very fateful Monday. Or if I forgot to bring extra batteries for the exam... and the electronic dictionary just happened to run out of it in the middle of the Paper 1 exam.

Cleaned up the class after the briefing and then headed for lunch. After lunch, I travelled to Expo with Christon where we queued up with the cell group for Asia Conference, among thousands. Witnessed some unsightly acts such as queue-cutting and occupying reserved space just to do a little bit of stretching and to have a good nap as a sweet respite from the blistering heat of the afternoon. Extremely inconsiderate. Besides, who can actually sleep in the midst of all the noise and stuffiness?

During the conference, I felt extremely tired out and I was in great pain. I felt like a girl who was having menstrual cramps, HAHAH. I guess I ate the wrong things. :/ I seized chances of having a bit of shut-eye during the advertisements and such. But I was awake throughout the conference after that as everyone was standing. My waist was aching (as usual). I remember Ms Tia mentioning that waistache is a result of consuming too much salt. Perhaps I can try cutting down my intake of that. OMG or is there a problem with my kidneys? Hahahah.

The conference was okay. Ended on time, at 10pm. Headed home after that, but halfway through I lost touch with the others. Guess it's because there's too many people.

Well, that kinda summed up Thursday for me.

school, events, thoughts, rant, church
