Today was a good Friday. :)
For PE lesson, we continued with the NAPFA test. I only managed to complete one station - Sit & Reach. I could only stretch until the 45cm mark, and 45cm isn't a very good distance for a 15-year-old male. I think it's only a B grade. But my expectations will really drop once I go for the standing broad jump. The most hated station ever...
Fast-forward to after lunch. I think it was the bubble tea, but everyone seemed to have perked up after the meal. Probably because they bought this Teenage magazine and were so entertained by the articles. Including one on Palmistry and of course, the very famous advice column by some Kelly person. Honestly, although the column is just downright stupid, it never fails to make my day. The questions in the column range from usual issues like friendship problems to outrageous confessions such as "I tasted my own semen" and "I'm addicted to poking my vagina". The column is so shallow & controversial that you can literally infer that most of the questions & answers were written by the columnists themselves because they really don't get much requests for advice. Or perhaps they just wanted to have a little fun.
On to the tests of the day. First up was the Social Studies CA. Everything was quite smooth sailing at first but when it boiled down to the last 10 minutes I started to panic because I spent too much time thinking of my answer. And trying to perfect it. The questions were undoubtedly quite difficult and they required a lot of analysis. To me, that is. In the end, I wrote my answers for all the questions, but the one for the last question was incomplete. But I guess I'd still get some marks for writing... :S
Up next was the A. Math CA. I'll have to give it up for this. Overall, the test was actually quite OK, but if you saw the final question, you'd really be left gasping. Honestly, I totally didn't get what the question was asking, and I was a little fidgety then because I was left with what? 15 minutes to organise my thoughts? Anyway, the question was about chickens and the rate at which bird flu spread from one chicken to another. How stupid can the questions get? In the end, all that was on my mind was chicken. Chicken wings, McChicken, drumsticks... but not differentiation of logarithmic chickens functions.
There was a cell group meeting in school after the tests and as usual Tay Xi shared her message. Pretty OK, a little disorganised but still good. :) We had it on the 5th floor this time round, and it was really stuffy in there.
Went for night study and then headed home on my dad's car. It was a tiring day but a more relaxing one.
