RE:busker du

it's definitely been one of those summers where good ideas get thrown out and latched onto but not necessarily manifested yet. i think this fall is gonna be pretty doggone fun if half those threads start to get woven into to something solid.

i still haven't managed to get out and busk myself. i did end up heading to port townsend the day before yesterday and kicked it with a bunch of fun street performers. that place is busking central, it's like if pike place was an entire town, hehe. pretty fun stuff.

so yeah dude, i know i'm not the only one who's had to just go with the carnivalesque flow of this summer and not worry about getting my pet projects on their feet yet. it's been a good lesson in patience, amongst others. and it's all been pretty ultimately satisfying, regardless of whatever immediate material rewards have resulted.

it sounds like your band memberships are doing well for themselves. that was a great write up on the shy ones, pretty spot on. all that dedication seems to be paying off, and when your dedication is to rocking out, it's the kind of hard work you gladly do, am i right?

so i guess we'll keep on being happy doin' what we're doin' for the rest of the month here and try and kick things up when september rolls around. sounds like a reasonable goal to me. so take it easy and get solidly back on your feet so we can get this show on the road, or sidewalk as the case may be.
