finally beginning to crawl out of this hole and get on with it. perhaps a clearer vision of what
'it' is has helped in that regard.
been spending the week in seattle crashing at joshua's and reconnecting with people i haven't seen in ages. got pho with marah on tuesday and kicked around with barak yesterday. gonna give leif a call today and see what he's up to.
so my plan right now is to make a movie revolving around myself. i like to think of it as post-narcissistic self-expression. or perhaps merely indulgence. at any rate, i want to get as many of my friends involved as possible (that means you!) and shoot a bunch of half-scripted, half-improvised scenes about where we're at in our lives and where we think we might be going, with musical interludes between each scene. like a mumblecore movie meets Once. it's about the cheapest idea for a movie i've been able to come up with, and the soundtrack can stand in for the proper album i've never gotten around to recording. so i'm excited about that idea.
during and/or after that i'm gonna start busking at pike place in the spring. then we'll see where things go from there.
