I've been writing a freakin' ton lately.
It's not just NaNo -- which, by the way, is so not going to be completed once hitting 50,000 -- or Truth -- which is about ten or so chapters from being finished (just as soon as I kick my ass into gear) -- or even Hope's epilogue -- in which the second part of Hope Was Here will be out in little over a week or so. There's also my English course, sadly being a class that I'm almost done with, and how I've written a Narrative, an Interview, a Rhetorical Analysis, and am now onto an Argumentative essay.
It's our last paper of the semester, the argumentative essay. My topic is an interesting blend of law, personal opinion, and mainstream reference. My thesis statement is as follows:
In the age of boundless technological advancement, fanworks inspired by the popular books and television that run through mainstream should be given more distribution right as transformative works rather than derivative works, and therefore be accepted as legitimate creative expressions.
Oh, yeah. That's right.
Not only am I writing fanfiction, but now I'm writing about fanfiction.
I'm not sure what this is a testament of, but I'm just going to take it as I really, really love writing.
