So, I know I still suck when it comes to this bit, but hey, here you go all the same...
Chapter 21 of Remember to Breathe is out! Chapter 22 of Remember to Breathe is out! It's been sort of anticlimactic, seeing as how I have only two chapters left for the sequel and have barely squeed about it at all. I think a combination of summer laziness and vacation partying and exhaustion now that I'm back home is to blame. Or I just fail at life. That could work too.
But, yes. There are only two more chapters left in Remember to Breathe: Sequel to A Collision with Hope! THEN IT IS DONE! FOREVER!
(Forever, of course, meaning until I write the three-part epilogue.)
I got home from Des Moines yesterday and then proceeded to die of exhaustion. Or to an extent, that is. Thanks to not sleeping at all on the plane (thank you screaming babies!), I was able to straighten out my sleeping schedule so that I went to bed still at around midnight and woke up at 10 in the morning. EXCELLENT. There's only so much waking up at four in the afternoon a girl can handle before she starts getting frustrated with herself.
Then, today, being up early and all, I went to the grocery store and bought food, because my parents decided to become healthy while I was gone. Bleh. Then I also went to Staples and bought mandatory school supplies, because it was... fun. I'm sorry, but I love buying school supplies. Though I was annoyed that there wasn't any supply list for college students. Don't ask me why.
I bought three binders, new pens, POST-ITS, two notebooks, and a snazzy messenger bag that can also fit my laptop if need be. Tomorrow, I go to the college store and get my books and anything else that interests my fancy (and doesn't kill my budget). I probably need to get a daily planner, too; I did get one at Staples, but accidentally grabbed the 2010 version. Now I'm lost for the next five months.
I also get my student ID tomorrow and parking tag. Woot. This whole college thing is fun.
And, after that, I go to my first class at five o'clock! Math, naturally. I don't know why I picked Monday and Wednesday for math. Math is a horrible way to start off a week and Wednesday has always been my favorite day. I should've given English to Monday and Wednesday and left Math to the crap days of Tuesday and Thursday.
/End babble.
I'm a little nervous, but mostly tired. I'm a little excited, but... mostly tired. I'm going to endure this first week and then judge my energy level before taking a trip to the karate place I found down the road. If I can manage it, I'm definitely picking up a class. Kicking ass is, after all, always fun.
And... then what? Well. I'm not sure. But I'll definitely be coming back here to chat about my first day in college. Should be an interesting read.
Watch me get lost or something. Guh.
ALSO! TRUEBLOOD! TONIGHT! NEW EPISODE!
I shall be watching it illegally online while on the phone with my sister. Muahaha.
