(no subject)
So here's what's been going on...
yesterday after class I went to Harrod's to meet Jennifer Aniston! She was releasing her new perfume here in London not far from my dorm. So I got there 2 hours before her arrival and I had to buy her perfume to get in line and meet her. It smells like Gardenias, so not so much of a sacrifice. So I waited in line for 2 hours for her to show up and man is she beautiful. I think she's prettier in person if that's even possible. Anyways, I took some pics and I threw my camera to some random girl in line behind me when it was my turn to meet her to take pics lol. Poor girl. Here's the play-by-play of my conversation with Jennifer Aniston:
J: "Hiii"
N: "Hey! How are you?"
J: "I'm great! You're American!"
N: "Yes I am!"
J: "Where are you from?" *signing my perfume bottle*
N: "I'm from Louisiana. I'm going to school here studying abroad."
J: "That's so cool!"
N: "You're so beautiful!"
J: "Aw, you're so sweet." *reaches over and grabs my hand*
N: "bye!"
Last night we went to this place called the Texas Embassy, which is a restaurant/bar by all the international embassies. It's pretty funny that there is this place from Texas! They have Baylor stuff everywhere too. Home away from home.
Today after class we had a field trip to Down House, the house of Charles Darwin. It was so incredible. The things that he observed and applied to human kind are simply amazing. I can definitely appreciate his love of the way the world works and his curiosity. Admirable man. And the cool thing was that all this started while he was sailing around the world, not unlike my journey...
