Kittehs and Ficness!
So I actually managed to write fic today--about a thousand words of Witcher fic! In a single morning! I know, I know, not really that impressive, but keep in mind I write like a snail. It's been a long time since a plot-bunny has bitten me this hard ... but this fic has backstory, and worldbuilding, and time-travel shenanigans, and how could I *not* write it? Here's hoping I can keep the momentum going ....
Speaking of which, for anyone on my f-list who likes story-heavy RPGS--BUY AND PLAY WITCHER 3 RIGHT NOW. Seriously. It will eat your life, but the writing in it is SO good--I think the last time I was this invested in a game was the first Dragon Age. And this world is tons more fun to explore, not to mention full of wry little fun easter eggs to find. :)
In other news--I got confirmation today, I'm going to get the kitties! Both mom and baby boy will be ready for me to pick up on 2/12! Am very excited and nervous right now--gotta figure out how to kitten-proof my condo. And how to protect my speakers from kitten claws and kitten launches--that's going to be the trickiest part. Still, happy happy happy! *^________^*
