I enjoy the episode. And when I decided to do a fic based off of it, I wanted to do my own spin on it totally.
Basically I see most teenagers at a lost for inhibitions because they haven't had experiences to inhibit them yet. So my interpretation of this is to have the adults losing their inhibitions and bringing it all to the surface. Hence Miss Pilsbury topless plus I think Carl is surprisingly good at sweet talk. But I wanted to keep it in the general spirit of Band Candy while putting my own spin on the spell and interpretation. Which I hope I did well.
Plus the best part of the lost of inhibitions is the icing sex and the movie theatre handjobs. :D Will's a bit of a closet fuh-reak.
I loved writing those parts. Because it was fun and I could be as random as I wanted to be. Also the incident with the AV cart totally happened at my friend's school. XD Except it wasn't teachers, it was three basketball players, the editor of the yearbook, and the principal's daughter on a dare to free the frogs. Figgins annoucement was fun to write. I can see Sue doing that while sober actually I purposefully kept whether she was drugged or not vague in my head because it was more amusing to me.
Will is a totally hot dork. He has a cool guy's body with all the geekish tendencies that we love.
Yep! That was my intention with Eve to not just use her for random motivation but rather give her a bit of an inferred backstory. :D
I don't know. I'm a very inhibited teenager because my conscience won't let me catch a break. I have one of those brains that asks "Why?" rather than "Why not?" so I'm always looking for reasons not to do something, rather than to do it.
That said, I've done some crazy stuff. *cough*hairsprayflamethrowerontheschoolplayground*cough*
The idea that Sue isn't even drugged and she's just taking advantage of a crazy situation didn't even occur to me, but now that it has it's my new head canon for this fic XD
Oh I am too! Otherwise I would have gotten into so freaky ass situations. But mainly the magic took away the "Why?" portion of the brain and left the "Why not?" portion alone.
