I'm a military brat. My dad is both Marines and Army (Marines first, Army after). My Grandfather served in the Navy. Every generation back to the Revolutionary War has been in the military. It's in our blood. Yeah, I didn't stay with the Navy because of some messed up shit, but never once did I feel threatened or like I wasn't excepted (as a matter of a fact I don't think I would be as happy as I am if I hadn't been through boot camp). Then I hear about
this shit and it makes me both sad and incredibly angry. I support the military, but learning about stuff like this makes me understand all those people who claim it is wrong. I can't understand why my military, the one that is full of my friends, my family, would allow this. What is so wrong with women? What? Why do they seem to hate us so?
