Progress Report
My parents went down to Missouri to visit my aunt. She refused visitors twice. Even when she agreed to see anyone she answered with only one word, yes or no. She's in bad shape. We are hoping they transfer her to a long term mental health facility. She needs serious help. She needs to have 24 hour surveillance.
My mom confronted my grandparents. There was a huge fight. My mom told them that we have no intention of ever seeing them again. My grandpa pulled the whole "I could commit suicide if I wanted." Both my parents said "go ahead." While I don't agree with my parents I do believe he needs to stop thinking of only himself. He's worried his past actions are going to resurface.
My cousin, my aunt's only daughter, has also decided she never wants to see my grandparents again. I feel for her. I can't even begin to imagine what she's going through. It's times like these where I wish my aunt, uncle and cousin lived closer to us. It's so hard with them being so far away.
