Cruisin in the ATL.

I read Diamond Age on the plane, and that was an amazing book. I have to reread it... because I think I'd get even more now that I know how the plots untangle. It's on my list of favorite books now though. The ride was fine, made entertaining by the fact I had a window seat. Staring out at the tops of clouds is a surreal experience. I really enjoy plane trips, they're a rare treat.

It was pretty late when we left the Atlanta airport so we went straight to dinner. I ate fried green tomatoes. They tasted... like fried. Yum. I also had sweet potato fries, Maryland-style crab cakes, and macaroni and cheese. Oh, and sweet tea that tastes like pure sugar. Mmmmm. Everything tasted wonderful.

I'm so excited for Dragon Con. Saturday I'm dressing as Luna Lovegood, then switching into a gypsy costume. Sunday I will dress as Tonks for the Yule Ball, then go to the pirate party dressed as... a pirate, duh. There are a lot of panels I want to go to, but my main goal for panels is to find out as much as I can about breaking into the Sci Fi/Fantasy industry. I will update more with information about how much of an awesome time I'm having.
