Weekend's are for the weak.

Jul 22, 2006 22:30

It used to be that weekends were for relaxation. No more!

This was my day:

7:45 -- Wake up and get dressed.
8:30 -- Go check out garage sales.
11:00  -- Find nothing. Come home.
12:00 -- Help Joanna clean out her car
12:45 -- Go car shopping.
1:30 -- Check out sketchy dealerships.
2:15 -- Drive pretty but not well kept car.
3:00 -- Fast food break. Ice cream and fries, mm!
4:00 -- Haggle down price on The Perfect Car.
5:00 -- Purchase The Perfect Car.
6:00 -- Arrive home. Doggies didn't destroy anything!
6:20 -- Leave home. OMG.
6:30 -- CarMax to get quote on Joanna's car.
7:30 -- Joanna decides to purchase her Perfect Car.
10:04 -- FINALLY leave CarHell -- wait, no CarMax.

And what might these perfect cars be? Ours would be a 99 silver VW Passat wagon. Lowish miles. Black leather (not my favorite thing on the car), 6 CD changer, heated seats, lots of airbags, awesome sound system, turbo, etc. etc. etc. Basically every option that there was for that year and car. It is VAIR VAIR awesome. Purchased outright. Well, cash and credit card (lower interest rate then a loan), no outside financing.

Joanna's perfect car. 02 VW Golf. Low miles. Silver. Financed, lower monthly payments then before at least!

I am exhausted. I have been home for about three hours today, so sleepy. But new hotttttt car, yay.

Also while waiting in CarHell the boy pointed out the little fatty-ish bump on my arm that I've had for at least two years if not more and decided that it has gotten bigger and I should go have it removed. Such talk only convinces me that it's going to turn out to be something horrible that might make my arm fall off. Way to go, he knows I'm not allowed on WebMd or else I'll be convinced convienced I'll have some disease that will kill me. However since we're moving and have emptied our savings account to a mere $600 after paying off his debts, our deposit on the townhouse, and $1600 cash for the car, we do not have the money for me to go to the doctors for two months. Damn meeting deductibles. I am sleepy pardon any poor spelling mistakes.
