INSANITY ENSUES
This past week/end has been such a whirlwind!
Ryan and I got up at 4:30am on Thursday to go to the airport to catch our 7:10am flight to Baltimore. We rented a car and headed to Hanover, PA.
Once there, we checked into our hotel, got lunch, and headed back to Baltimore to see his aunt, uncle, cousins, and two friends to go to an Orioles game. Yay! It was Nick Markakis Bobblehead night and we definitely got two bobbleheads! Fun was had by all and the Orioles won! YES!
After the game, Ryan and I got back to our car and headed back to Hanover! On Friday morning we did a bunch of random stuff around Hanover and then got ready for the wedding. (The ultimate purpose for our trip up north!) Adam and Nikky's wedding was at 4:30 at this 250 year old stone church. It was absolutely beautiful. The reception was held at the Gettysburg Hotel and it was beautiful as well. I finally got to meet a bunch of the friends I have always heard all the high school stories about: Simms, Fricke, Dodson, Matt, DAngle (Devin Angle, lol), and several more whose names escape me at the moment.
Saturday morning we got up and headed over to Adam and Nikky's house to spend a little bit of time with them. Adam got sick at the wedding (his sister was sick the day of the wedding, so I suppose that's where he got it from) so he didn't have much in him during our visit.
When we finished our visit with them, we headed up to York and Lancaster PA. We finally stopped in the town of Intercourse! ***insert hilarious comments here*** We got to see a ton of Amish people in their buggies. It was a great time for all :) After we had our fill of making fun of the buggy riders, we headed back to Hanover for food, trivia at Damons, and the Oriole game on TV.
Sunday morning we got up, checked out of our hotel and headed down to the Inner Harbor at Baltimore. We got some lunch and went to the Aquarium! It was sooo much fun! We got some dinner and then headed here, to the airport.
Our flight was scheduled to leave at 9:20pm and when we got here and checked in, it was delayed until 11PM. As the time has gone on, we are now scheduled to leave at MIDNIGHT!!!!
Also, apparently I caught Adam's stomach bug or something of the sort because I have been to the bathroom several times and I feel horrible!
Great way to end our trip, LOL. Our trip was definitely fun and we got a ton of things done up here.
