My parents came for the weekend. We had to drive down to the border (an hour drive) to get my study permit. Finally, I have that study permit. Now I can relax a little. I got my membership to Le Gym. I can't wait to try it out.. Part of Concordia's new Engineering and Visual Arts building, Le Gym and the EV fitness center just opened last year.
Things to do:
Today:
-Get groceries
Tomorrow:
(Before first class)
-Get to the International Students Office first thing in the morning and submit copies of my study papers
-Submit copies of my study papers at the Birks Student Information Center
-Get to the bookstore before the mad rush to purchase my last book
-Before and After Socrates 10:15-11:45
(Between classes)
-Get my metro pass, which involves going across town I think.. I will get definitive information at the ISO
-Somehow get in contact with my department adviser in order to approve a course overload
-Ethics 4:15-5:30
-Linguistics 6:00-8:15
Tuesday:
-Philosophy of Language 10:15-11:45
(Between classes)
-Open a checking account
-Deductive Logic 4:15-5:30
So I pretty much have the first half of my week cut out for me.. After all this is said and done my only remaining business will be my coursework. At least I will have cleared all these legal hurdles.
