yeah im a friggin pirate, i got a fun long story, last night at practice, my amp fried, my small amp not the big guy , thank you God, the coil blew inside and that was a hideous loud ugly hurting noise, so after an hour of it bein off, i turnedit back on and played it , its not as loud anymore, it still sounds pretty good but it was what i was using to power my cabinet till i could sell it to luke but now luke doesnt want to buy it cause its too much for what he wants, he wants a tiny little bass amp, thats cool, so im going to check my warranty and sell it back to hot licks , get some credit and eventually buy a fender tube bass amp head half stack or something, so i was thinkin last night when this happened how would i play with my current money situation, i didnt have an amp to borrow from friends, so i couldnt buy one right away or make payments on one till about march when im outta debt, soooooooo paul comes outta no where with this old 1970's boxy thing that use to be a guitar amp head, so im using it, i set it up to sound just like my bassman 200 till i can get a head for the 810 weeeehoooo!!!!! it sounds great, i like the tube sounds so thats why im going to find a tube amp head for the bass , it had a deep pitch i like, then on top of everything else, pauls brother in law is a half producer half smart recording studio guy, he is givin us the hookups with anything we want as far as recording goes, usually he said he charges anywhere from 5-10k for a cd but were getting it all free........ = ) how cool is that, so were gonna do a lil small sample cd for now, like 2 or 3 songs, and this summer probably June, go down and record a full legnth cd, or an EP and send it out to record labels , yup yup, his bro in law has contacts in Jive records, im down for tooth and nail or flicker records, thats just my cup of tea though, im excited and feelin blessed
