Missing in action
My last entry was a week ago, and since then I've enjoyed my (I think) well-deserved holidays. Coincidentally, my parents enjoyed their second week of holidays in my brother's holiday apartment on the island not far from where I live, so I joined them for the week.
But first they picked me up and we had dinner together.
It's called Mailand medaillons of pork (with egg and parmesan) and it's delicious.
It also had been raining for I don't know how many weeks until last monday, but the moment I had passed my exam, the sky cleared up XD.
The restaurant is on the other side of the river.
Well, and from then on the weather was brilliant.
Brilliant.
I did nothing. Nothing. Well, I ate, and I read, and I slept, but apart from that? Nothing. And the weather was glorious. A clear-blue sky, and endless sun, and it was warm.
I basically spent my days at the beach.
That was the view from my place.

That's where I sat most of the time for four days.
I finally caught up on all my mangas and started reading that hilarious book about meerkats being private detectives.
I hadn't planned on actually going swimming, I'm more a "I don't want to share the water with fish and algas"-kinda girl, but then I was wearing my bathing suit and walked around at the beach when I tried to jump to evade one of the bigger waves ... and fell on my butt. It was actually hilarious. Well, since I was wet anyway, I decided I could go swimming after all. So, yeah, I went swimming in the Baltic Sea -- twice. It was actually really nice.
See, I still look happy!
And that's what I did last week. I'm now at my parents', the weather is less than stellar, but I don't mind -- I got my perfect week of sunshine, which I could actually enjoy for once. Also, tuppeny is coming on thursday (I haven't seen her in three years) and I'll take the train to Berlin on wednesday to pick her up from the airport. So, don't expect many updates for the next few weeks, I'll be busy ^^.
