Me too. This is why I loved Babylon AD so much (and all post apocalyptic stories like this.) Ive just received a book about a postapocalyptic story too. I hope ti will be good.

Well Babylon AD is pretty weak movie really... stuff like The Postman or I, Legend is far better :) Or Children of Men (which I didn`t quite like either, actually). There are many real goo postapocaliptic movies... like THX 1138 :) or say Twelve Monkeys, Zardoz, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, The Handmaid's Tale, 28 Days Later... The Omega Man, Logan`s Run and Silent Running, Mad Max, Cherry 2000... I love the genre...
