UPDAAAAAAAAATE.
Hi guys. I exist I swear. Life has just been hella busy. It's pretty much been school, homework, work. And MODA. I became Vice President of it last week. Might run for president come election time. THIS IS WEIRD because what, me in a leadership position come on. But we're spending a lot of time getting ready for our big fall fashion show, which is in about three weeks. And I still don't have pants I was gonna make ready for it. Nnnngh come on Hooz don't have another repeat of Career Day BE MOTIVATED.
I have a dress to be working on for draping but I'm being lazy because it's getting to the parts I really don't want to deal with -3-)~ but since it's due tomorrow I guess I have to. Also made the sad discovery that the stuff I drape won't really fit me, my chest isn't big enough. Cry. BUT after this next coming project it finally gets to stuff *we* get to design, so I'm excited. The first one, an engineered stripes dress, is going to be a self-imposed zero waste challenge. Which means GEOMETRIC PATTERNS EVERYWHERE. Then comes the lined jacket, which is going to be beautiful and I will wear the fuck out of it and win so many things with it. Then a knit project but I haven't thought that far ahead yet.
Fashion Month is happening. Everyone's collections look absolutely fucking amazing. Armani's stuff is absolutely flawless, like always. Gareth Pugh did a video of his collection like in Fall 09 instead of a traditional runway, and everyone should watch it. It's artistically amazing and just. nnngh. I'm not into guys but I seriously would let him do whatever he wanted with me.
Yesterday I filled out a transfer request form for the Macy's up here in Denton. The driving an hour each way to Plano is starting to kill me since I'm refueling like. Every week, and I really can't afford that. So hopefully that works out, especially since I could even take the bus to work if I needed to.
Kirby's Epic Yarn comes out in exactly two weeks and I am excite. It is going to be made of adorable and so much textile-fagging. I really should finish Other M before that, buuuuut there's a fight coming up I don't want to deal with because it will either be aurally annoying or nightmare-fuel inducing. :V I really really hope Nintendo FINALLY comes out with a sequel to Fusion. They really don't have any more excuses left it's been almost ten goddamn years you assholes.
Think I need to do a layout overhaul it's been long enough.
