Another English Anime Song
Apparently, there's an anime of the book series "Deltora Quest" by the australian childrens (fantasy) author Emily Rodda. I had no idea. I haven't watched it, nor read the books.
It's been a while since I read childrens fantasy, although I used to quite love her Teen Power Inc series and Finders Keepers was always loved too back in primary school. [Haha! Now I'm showing my age.]
And the small amount of pictures I've seen for the anime make it looks too cutesy for my tastes... but an Australian author who has written a series that has been turned into an anime! This makes me sit up and take a little bit of notice. [Mostly because I've always thought it would be beyond awesome to be an author who has this happen.]
What shot this up into my sphere of notice was madman reporting in their monthly email update that the third opening song for this series is "In This Life" by... Delta Goodrem?! I'm not a huge fan of her, but I don't mind the odd song when I'm in the right mood, but Australian artist singing an anime theme song? I've barely gotten used to the rarely heard American artists singing anime theme songs. The brain boggles... possibly in a good way. [I'm not against it, it's just not the norm so it makes me have a second of 'buh?']
I don't think this is enough to make me watch the [56 episode] anime, but I think I might be youtubing the opening and endings a bit to see more then I know now. (^_^)v
