NICK CAVE WROTE A SEQUEL TO GLADIATOR??
hankshiny just informed me that nick cave WAS COMMISSIONED to write a sequel to gladiator. what . . . how . . . WHY DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS. PEOPLE, IT IS YOUR JOB TO TELL ME THINGS LIKE THIS. hankshiny imparted this information with such a "duh" attitude, also. like, everyone knows this, man.
what really blows my mind is the fact that someone specifically paid him to write it. it's not like he just did it because he fucking felt like it or was deeply inspired by the CGI tigers/fat joaquin phoenix, which i can also imagine.
anyway, the new grinderman video suggests what that sequel would have been like. i hope.

hi everyone! i keep promising to make a real update but have accepted that it will never happen. not much is happening besides working til 9 pm every night and buying improbable designer clothing, because i finally realized that there are these things known as end of season sales where you can get ridiculously priced items for somewhat sane dollar amounts. also i finally joined gilt.com, which is myglock_yrface's fault because she posted these shoes i have wanted forever since i went to opening ceremony with lindsay and i was all "sweet, there's an invitation link!" so yes. i work and i do shallow things because work strips me of all extraneous thoughts and opinions. i make lists of all the fashion bloggers i want to kill, and why. i read the magicians, which is another White People and Their Problems book, only with magic. i watched scott pilgrim and still can't see michael cera as a viable sexual being. i have not planned a single thing about my wedding, so maybe it won't happen! hankshiny is also busy and often miserable, although his misery involves koreans and the accompanying time differences, rather than megalomaniacs in cargo shorts and froogle, like me.
