. . . i live here now. it is very weird. we have no furniture but everything is unpacked. finally went to target today and got a shower curtain and bathmat so we don't have to do awkward waddling/kneeling splash faucet baths anymore. have been reveling in thai food, i never once found a decent thai place in the old city. ordered a dresser and some bookcases from ikea. trying to learn my way around. tons of children everywhere, hankshiny went out to get groceries and when he returned found his way blocked by several tiny bikes. attack #2 - got large wet green lollipop stuck to bottom of pants while in target. children do not like my boyfriend. just got back from seeing wall-e.
i need interior decorating advice. i am not sure what furniture to buy or how to arrange it. do any of you know anything about this? i'm mostly confused about the living room, don't know where to put all the bookcases or a couch/tv when we finally buy them so we don't make the room feel cramped. where should i even buy this couch, or a bed? i consider myself an experienced consumer, but furniture baffles me. also i wish the walls weren't yellow, although it is a pleasant enough color.
hankshiny goes back to work tomorrow, anyone want to hang out or whatever? i also have a lot of house stuff to do but i should get out of the house as well. there is still something seriously wrong with my left foot but i can work with it.
