So, those bombings in London are rather scary, eh? Thank God I was out of that country when they hit. Though, in all honestly, I probably wouldn't have been awake when they hit. I got out a few days just before.
So, Newbury Comics: apparently I'm not good enough to go in there anymore. I was in the one in the Garage in Harvard Square the other day, and everyone inside was punk, emo, or goth, even those behind the counter. I got so many dirty looks, that I just sorta left, feeling very unwelcome. I never thought I would see the day when my kind wasn't accepted at Newbury Comics.
Dave Dickerson and I went hiking up Mount Monadnock. I have learned for future reference that I am not even considered to be in decent shape, I am in just plain ol' bad shape. I dragged down Dave's performance by continously stalling us on the way to the summit with the need for water breaks and whatnot, but we did still make it to the top unscathed. This did not continue, as I slipped on a rock on the way down, and smashed the first three toes of my right foot. The big toe hurts a lot right now, and is kinda purplish. As we stopped a minute while I died on the ground, we then moved on further down the mountain. Not much longer later, I slipped a on a rock again and my foot got stuck in a crack it probably shouldn't be in, while my body fell in a direction that it definitely shouldn't be in if that's where my foot was going to be. Turns out it's a rather strong sprain, and it hurts a damn lot. The doctors said it would hurt for three to four weeks, and to wear a splint on it.
That's my life, but I'm sure there is some other stuff going on that I forgot about. Drop a message and I'll let on more stuff in the next post.
