Today I actually had a bass lesson I didn't hate. Mostly because I barely used the instrument at all. I made my teacher go over all the chord signature things with me so that I can improvise better in jazz combo. Speaking of jazz combo, did I mention that I'm in two now? Well I am. And I'm super psyched. Apparently there's a bass player shortage.
In other news, I just got back from my first Ancient Egyptian Warfare class, which has a TON of potential. I hope it doesn't let me down. The teacher is great, and reminds me of Erin Byrne, and opened the class talking about pyramids of human skulls. Awesome? I think so.
