Mortgage
My remortgage completed yesterday. I got a phone call on Monday lunchtime from the legal bods to let me know they were planning to complete the next day and it all went through with no issues. Today my HSBC dashboard is showing no mortgage account. I haven't logged into the Santander account to check the cash has arrived yet,
Overall, from applying to completion, it took 22 days. This is what I was expecting from HSBC, but they couldn't even manage it in 4 weeks from the valuation, and when I asked after nearly 4 weeks, hadn't even applied for the redemption figures.
I have accounts with HSBC I can't move until April, but as soon as I can, I will be taking all my business elsewhere.
I'm just glad it's all sorted and I can get on with sorting the house out.
