i got to stab people!!
Last day of clinical and I got to spend it in day surgery, it was amazing. 3 out of 5 successful IV starts(yay!) and I got to use an EKG machine. Which was very different from the telemetry I thought it was going to be but everything worked out in the end. Also I got to use this exergen temporal artery thermometer that I completely fell in love with, it was so much fun to use.
80 hours of med-surg finished and now I get to start L&D/Pedi in a few weeks. Why is it not May yet?
I'm still extremely stressed about school and everything that happened with Chewy isn't helping but at least I stopped my random crying episodes over the last few days. I'm trying to adapt this "one day at a time" attitude bullshit so I dont end up walking into traffic. Seems healthier.
Can't wait to see The Crazies, I need a little gore and blood to end this week with.
