Hm... am I really living life? (And arg! Timing!)
Well, I had an AMAZING time sleeping in until 1pm today. Lets just say I really needed a good 12-hour rest period. So then I bummed around a bit again today. Did a LOT of laundry, so I actually have clothes again. Also, I did a few chores around the house for the rents. Then Rob came over, and we watched Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. But, you see, that movie has sublimenal messages, I swear it. Because 20 minutes into it, we both REALLY started to crave white castle burgers and wished were were smoking something. So Rob drove 5 minutes down the road and bought a 6-pack of microwavable white castle burgers and I set up my hookah! Yay! Wow, that movie has an all new meaning to me. :)
Then, after white castle burgers and pizza, we watched Friday night smackdown. That was fun. Not necessarily because I enjoy wrestling but I enjoy WATCHING wrestling with friends. And then Erin Brady and Melissa called me on my cell at around 9:30. They invited me (and Rob too since he was over) to a party they were at in West Hartford. God I wish I could have gone!!!!! But damn my geographic location! I'm an hour and a half drive away and I unfortunately have to get up uber-early tomorrow (6-7ish) to pack and get ready for NH and to do more chores for the rents. But I'm already making plans to try and get together either this coming Thursday or Friday. What'd REALLY be cool is if I could get them to go to the Rise Against concert in Hartford and party back at Rob's after that. But we'll see... So, yeah, ARG! timing. Haha.
So yeah, just kinda bums me that I get invited to a party and I cant go, and now find myself sitting on a couch on a Friday night watching Stargate on SciFi. Hence the "Am I really living life" part of my headline. But I digress.
Oh! And I got some good news cash-wise. Basically I got a scholarship offer today: $1000! :) Hm... and I do NH tomorrow. Thats going to be awesome. I guess the plan is for my mom, sis and I to drive up via Kelsey's house, pick her up, hit Uncle John's for an hour and then Kels and I split in the car for waterville, where we may or may not jump off a waterfall, but will be: Yoga-ing, Champagning things up, eating MARVELOUS tortellini alfredo with bacon bits, and of course HOOKAHING.
