Whenever we all post to each other, don't we always have to assume we're going on merely bits and pieces of information? It always reminds me of when I was in middle school and my grandmother had this collection of Anne Lander's letters. I would read them and I was always skeptical of what the person was saying. I felt like there had to be more to the story. I thought, "How does she answer these letters with only the tiny little bit of information she has to work with? How does she know these people aren't lying?" and then finally I realized, she didn't know. That's the nature of what she did - she pretty much had to take all the letters at face value, assume they were being honest, and give the best advice she could.
Yeah, that was kind of random, but anyway, I love all you guys. You could never say anything to me that was out of place. (and you know all about how I have that inability to assume anything should be private...)
I'll always appreciate your advice. You're a smart lady.
And yeah, it freaks me out how much medication I'm on. Why do all the doctors think it's okay? I shouldn't be such a push-over.

I don't know that much about doctors, so I'm gonna believe what Beau wrote below. Do you know how many days of work Beau has missed since he joined the army in 1994? NONE.

He takes heartburn meds now because he has acid reflux disease, but he doesn't even take excedrin when he's got a headache. At first I found this to be really wierd, but then I started to wonder what he was doing right to be so healthy all the time and tried to copy him. Our bodies have an amazing ability to fix themselves.

For me, exercising has made a big difference and prettty much cures everything that is wrong with me. Especially when I can run somewhere beautiful and listen to good music. It lowers my stress, elevates and regulates my moods, keeps me looking good, and pretty much eliminates PMS. Why would I not do that???

So my advice is to exercise. I like running and walking outside and team sports, including ping-pong. I don't like gyms and machines. Just moving and keeping my heart rate elevated. It sounds stupid, but running really has changed my life.

Thanks for understanding about these posts. I want to be there for you in the realest sense that I can, so I guess we'll just do the best we can through the glorious medium of LJ.

I do think going home will be good for you, though. Sometimes we just have to be nice to ourselves, you know?
