I thought it might be a nice idea if hoodie_time had our own beta-reader list, so from now on this post will always be open for anyone looking for a beta and/or interested in becoming a beta of Dean-focused hurt/comfort fic. Please scroll down for more info.

Genres/pairings you won't beta: I'm not super picky. If want me to beta it I will, but the pairings listed above are ones I prefer. I'd like to say away from any death fics though.

Beta strengths/special skills: Grammar, sentence structure, spelling, characterization...all the basic stuff. I love to give suggestions and, more often than not, if I change something I'll explain in to you. I also work really quickly. In most cases I can have the piece back to you the next day...depending on real life work load and the length of the story of course.

Length of the fics you'd beta: Any length. Short, long, one time, series.

Any other info: As I said before, I'm available for quick betas. I love h/c. I like seeing Dean hurting, but also having Sam feeling down and also hurting in his own way. I'm familiar with the Harry Potter and Glee

I won't beta any Wincest, Real Person fics, or any explicit smut. (Sorry, just not my cup of tea.) I will try anything else.

My strengths are grammar, spelling and English usage. I'm also fairly solid on my SPN canon.

I love either boy being sick or vulnerable, though I prefer non-life-threatening conditions.

I'm willing to do either quick reads, identifying mistakes only, or work with you to improve the story in more depth.

Beta strengths/special skills: A degree in English lit and a deep, abiding love of sick Dean.
Length of the fics you'd beta: Up to 1500 words is definitely not a problem. Longer could be OK depending on what else I'm juggling at the time.
Any other info: I can be pretty critical. Constructive and sensitive, but critical. Be warned! Also I'm heading out of town... now... and won't be back until the beginning of October.

Genres/pairings you won't beta: deathfic, daddy!cest, slash with OMC/Fs, like 90% of crossovers and i'm not too keen on Het, unless its more of a peripheral relationship and isn't all that important to the story :P
Beta strengths/special skills: Grammar and punctuation, def. characterization, spelling and I know the canon backwards and forewards.
Length of the fics you'd beta: anything is fine. from one shots to ficlets to epics, all is good to me :]
Any other info: I have a deep deep love for the Dean!whumpage and Sammy taking care of him. and usually I have a very quick turn around. unless RL matters intervene, I can have the fic back usually within the next 24-48hrs (unless there is a time issue on the writer's side. then I will work as fast as possible to be able to meet the deadlines)
