1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?

-Lived in a different city
-Worked at Swiss Pastries
-Started eating healthier
-Made tiramisu...one of many new desserts under my belt
-Worked almost 50 hours in one week
-Discovered the miracle's of natural food stores
-Went to a gym regularily
-Urinated purple

2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions and will you make more for next year?

My resolutions for 2009 include...

-Come to terms with being single. Stop hunting for boys constantly. (Completed...for the most part)
-Develop a schedule that will help me from being bored constantly. (Completed)
-Cook more and develop my skills. (Completed)
-Drink alot less. (Not so much...)
-Get into baking school at george brown. (Completed)
-Go on a trip. (Did not complete)
-Be more motivated for school. (Succeeded)
-Get another part time job. (Succeeded)

For 2010:

-Get a part time job
-Smoke less
-Drink less
-Go on a trip (Get passport)
-Re-do G1
-Work out regularily and eat healthy
-Try having a long-term relationship

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Once again, no.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
just a couple great-aunts that I don't see very often

5. What countries [regions] did you visit?
none at all.

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
Healthier diet and better body

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory and why?
August 1st...moving day to TO. Thats about it lol

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finding that sick place in TO
Getting into school and following up with it
Passing all of my classes
Getting the job at Swiss Pastries and managing to keep it lol
All the things i've cooked and bake.
Becoming closer with my parents
Better social skills
Got a nice-ish tan in the summer
-Made amazing friends..
My reputation in Toronto and at school
Finding an amazing roomate

9. What was your biggest failure?
Keeping my anxiety levels at par
Guys in general...once again
Culinary at algonquin...
My relationship with my sisters...i'm begging to think its hopeless though lol
Trying to keep people in my life, keeping in touch with friends
Spent wayyyy too much money

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Just anxiety and hypochondria
I burn myself alot too in the kitchen

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Hmm...i didn't exactly buy it, but te round kitchen table I took from my parents...I don't know where I'd be without it.
Couscous with discount vegetables MMMMMMM!!

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Hmm...Ricky for being an amazing friend and always being there.
Duane for being an amazing roomate and keeping his cool with me losing the keys all the time and bringing people over 24-7.
Mom and Dad for always being there and for being the amazing parents that they are.
Kari for her unbelievable courage and adventurism.
Leigha for achieving her goals and dreams.
Alex for keping me sane and making me laugh constantly in TO
All the grandparents for demonstrating the joy of longetevity and growing old. Especially grampa P. for always being there for grandma.
Section D of the baking program at george brown for being the sickest class EVERR!!

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
Random guys as usual...and my sisters during the holiday season. And chef Freeman..

14. Where did most of your money go?
Food and Booze

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Baking School!!! Pretty much every morning, making new exciting things. Also moving to Toronto AND for the trips coming home.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a)happier or sadder? i'd say about the same...although i had different concerns
b) thinner or fatter? fatter...i think its downhill from now on lol

i wish i did more travelling.
more writing definitely
more excersize
more wholesome things
going out to events more in toronto
more shopping at cheap grocerie stores

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
I wish i'd done less drinking, smoking, lazying around. eating out. (same as last year)

20. How will you be spending Christmas [and New Year's Eve!]?

Xmas: This year I wasn't really in the christmas spirit. Got some cool things though, kitchen suplies, a camera, some clothes. Leigha and I baked for three days straight probably spending 15-20 hours in the kitchen. Kari came home from New Zealand and we greeted her at 12:30am at the airport. Paula and Kevin came over that night for dinner, which was really good, i had made a tiramisu the night before. Made chocolate, chantilly, and mocha profiteroles, as well as paris-brest, sugar cookies, shortbread, meringues, macaroons, spritz, and other goodies for the christmas party on the 29th at gramma M's building...which was very enjoyable.

New Years: Last year I went down to Toronto and chilled with Alex although we missed the celebration at Nathan Philips square it was still a good time. Spent a few days at alex's place afterwards...

nah, still too young for that

23. What were your favorite TV programs?
king of queens and seinfeld

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
definitely not

25. What was the best book you read?
hehehe the gisslen once again...cept the baking one!

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Lady Gaga!!! hahaha and a bunch of classical and old foreign music

27. What did you want and got?
I wanted to get into george brown for baking and got it.
I wanted to move to toronto and got it
I wanted to find a job and got one
I wanted to be more socail at school and got that
I wanted to do well in school and accomplished that

28. What did you want and not get?
I wanted a boyfriend or at least something meaningful
I wanted to make alot of friends at culinary school.
I wanted to find a guy to support me, failure!

29. What was your favorite film of this year?
Julie and Julia

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 20 this year, had a little party in the basement of my parents place and got a little too drunk...got a ride downtown and was in the line up for zaphods untill candice took me home in a cab, which i managed to puke in. God bless her...

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Hmm...more confidence i guess...and more money in my pocket.

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
American eagle boy.

33. What kept you sane?
Taking many Supplements and trying to live a balanced lifestyle. Ricky in Ottawa and Alex in Toronto...Tv and cooking...the baking course, random encounters with guys...my parents. Lots...

Hmmm...none.
