I've seen some translations of this song floating around and they simply don't do it justice so I've decided to do this song, I'm quite pleased with the wording and how I didn't require any footnotes this time because it's a pretty straightforward song and it fit beautifully with the entire art school unrequited love concept of Honey and Clover.

hmm, I don't remember how much we had to pay for the tickets, but it was worth it imo. Not that we understood the Japanese of course *except for what I knew from the anime*, but sometimes images leave even a deeper impression. HachiKuro basically exisits of pictures, especially since its focus is on Takemoto as the narrator and mostly on the background music.
The costumes were all very pretty and fit the style of the manga/anime/movie very well~

i gotta be real you couldn't have paid less than 1000 yen (and that's only if you had two other people with you and you all have student IDs and enough japanese language to tell them you want the 3 for 1000 special) and personally, there is so much other stuff you could buy/eat in Tokyo with 1500 yen rather than waste it in some movie theater, especially if you have no idea what's going on.

Idk except for what a few people wore their clothes were really Spring magazine-esque, and Takemoto's clothes were hideous. how you gonna be that frumpy and at art school?

actually I think we paid 1500yen each, but we went on the first airing day and the crowd was huge. Everyone was waiting for Sho to come. ;D *didn't see him though, cuz he must have sneaked out somehow*
Well whatever, I think it paid off and I wouldn't want to miss the expirience. ^^

asayakana sono iro wa kokoro kara kienai no ni

Looks like a typo, should be azayakana. :)

Thank you for the translation. It's really a beautiful song and it really matches Hachikuro.

Well I've also seen the Hachikuro movie. I paid .. well .. I think it had been 1,300 Yen for one ticket. But well it was really worth it, also I didn't understand much because of my bad Japanese. But Sho was such a cute Takemoto and all the other actors really matched their manga/anime characters. I'm really looking forward in getting the DVD (and hopefully a "version" with subs ^.~)

Ah and I have also been to that exhibition at LaForet! It was sooooo amazing! To see all the costumes and things from the movie in real life!! *.* Didn't you also think that this big statue of Morita was just too amazing!! *_* I also loved this exhibition very much! To see all those things for real. Really great!! ^.^
