Harry Dresden

The list

Today's question, per miladygrey: What's in store for Harry? My guesses:

--Mother Winter's walking stick (which is described as "lost" in Cold Days is, in fact, the Blackstaff; and sooner or later, she's going to want Harry to get it back for her. This being The Dresden Files, I would imagine Mother Winter getting back her walking stick would make a lot of people (like, the whole human race) very unhappy.

--Nicodemus is going to make another play for Maggie. In fact, the nasty part of my head is thinking he'll try, somehow, to give her Deirdre's old coin.

--Something bad is going to happen to the Carpenters. Bad: Michael gets killed. Worse: Charity gets killed. Either would be devastating for Molly et al, but they've all, to some degree, been prepared for Michael's death over the years. Losing Charity would utterly gut him, and I think it'd ultimately be a harder blow for the family. And Molly would go Full Metal Bitch.

--Thomas will get Amoracchius. There's just too much lined up. He has royal blood. He manages to love so deeply that he's allergic to his own girlfriend. His birthday is Valentine's Day, for crying out loud. I don't know what the Sword would do to his demon, but I can't imagine the two would get along.

--The new spirit of intellect Harry gave birth to will be named Minnie. His dog is Mouse, his cat is Mister, his daughter is Maggie, the spirit needs an M-name.

--Harry will be hilariously hapless at fatherhood. I would *treasure* a parent-teacher conference. He might have to bring along Mouse for moral support, and Charity or Michael as a translator/interpreter/diplomat.

--Elaine will become the new Summer Knight once Fix kicks the bucket, probably as a result of doing something incredibly stupid like going after Maggie to get back at Harry for Lily's death. Elaine's career has paralleled Harry's in so many ways, and Summer has already taken an interest in her.

--Margaret Le Fay will have another son, one named Richard. Geddit? Tom, Dick and Harry . . . okay, you're right, that's stupid.

--Isn't it about time Cowl and/or Kumori (which means "cloudy" in Japanese, incidentally) showed up again?

Any other ideas?
