If I had a bunch of girlfriends, I'd totally spend some of my dwindling funds to go see Magic Mike. For a movie about male strippers, the previews look . . . well, kind of adorable. And, for some reason, I love the fact that Channing Tatum used to be a stripper and is doing all his own dancing.
Not connected to the above, but, speaking of girlfriends, I've got a goal. I'm going to sub this winter and make enough money that I can take a vacation to Hawaii with mermaidrain next summer. I'll get a spray tan before I go, to avoid spooking the locals, and she and I will sit on the beach, drinking mai tais. I have no idea what a mai tai is, but I will drink one, just to say I have.
