'Nother fic rec!

I normally don't rec WIPs, but I have to rec this one. It got its start in a prompt regarding the First Quarter Quell, in which the districts had to choose their tributes. It's taken on a life of its own, though, and the author is doing some amazing things with it. In a way, it's horrifying; overwhelmingly, the tributes chosen are those deemed by their district as worthless, those less able to work, or those the district simply doesn't want to look at or deal with. They're all so beautifully drawn by the author that you don't want any of them to die. Well, except for a few.

Anyway, I'm following this story like an addict. The author's updating regularly, and I want her to have more readers, so do go ahead and read Choosing.
