Karma is a peculiar thing. It determines the future of your next life. But what of us? Do our actions from our previous homes dictate the kind of life we have here? We are still ourselves.  No new life. Only moved elsewhere.

... Is he okay with that, though?

From the way he sounded, no. But he has no reason to loathe you for the invitation I made.

Mmm, I don't want to cause a rift between you and a friend, though. Maybe I could sleep on a couch, or something? Or we could move a mattress from the old apartment to here.

... Or blow up a wall. That worked pretty well last time. Or maybe we should all move there?

No that's fine, you can have my room. It's really no beg deal, Minato. I can sleep on the couch. And pulling a mattress over and leaving it on the floor would just be a bad idea with the weather.

No, we're not blowing things up. We have neighbors. And we've already been through that. -- I'm not sure about moving. I would have to talk to the others and I don't think that would necessarily work right now.

I do, though I'm not certain if it's the strength you're looking for. And please, whatever you'd like that I can do for you, you only need to tell me.

As long as it has a decent magnetism it should be fine for what I'm doing. And thank you.

In that case I can certainly assist you; I'm glad. I'll stop by later and leave it with you, unless of course you need it now? And there's no need for thanks. I feel I owe you far more than I am capable of offering.

Well, I would rather do this now than later, if you don't mind. I'm already out, I could stop by. It should only take a few minutes after all. Other than this I'm afraid I don't have a need for a magnet.

I'm not sure what I've even done for you to make you feel as if you owe me so much.

I have reason to believe the guilty are being punished. And the innocent are simply here due to sheer misfortune. Karma may bring forth a harsher truth in the next life for those with blood soaked hands, however, those responsible for our arrival do not care whether we are free from sin or not.

And of those who have already had a life? For those who perished? Take that into consideration. If life can be born again, why in the same body? With the same memories? Karma doesn't allow that privilege, you have to learn what you did wrong. The scientists may not care, but something about all of that isn't right. If someone died, they shouldn't be able to be brought back. Let alone another dimension.

[ And unfortunately he's in no mood to further discuss this issue or any other. He's sitting there, staring at his device, resisting the urge to throw it once more.

Angeal... What have you done?]

Perhaps this can all be discussed with your new friend over tea?

[Those words tore at him something he didn't think would have hurt that much. And he almost has the nerve to not reply to it. But he does, and he didn't expect a response back once he did.]

If something about myself is unsettling with you, it would help if you said something about it so that I might be able to address it.

Oh? Is there a reason why you wish to leave?

I'm not leaving. I might have left for not but I'm not moving out. I'm taking a walk, I'll be back soon.
